I had a great experience and they didnt even fix anything! They were honest and thorough. Heidi is a dog person. I trust dog people. They gave me a referral to another place that was a better suited to fix my problem. If your problem is transmission related, take it here.

Had my subaru forester in for a transmission service and differential fluids changed. Took a couple months to get the appointment but was well worth the wait. They were very professional and first rate service. Paid exactly what was quoted. The vehicle shifts better and is quieter then new! Even got a thank you card. Thanks again everyone. Job well done!

I called Jim & Sons after the manager at a local auto parts store recommended them. I spoke with Jake and he explained his honest approach to accessing and repairing a transmission. I had been given a bunch of BS from a different company that only wanted to sell me a new transmission for $6800. Jake told me he was confident he could rebuild my transmission for $3500 to $4000, if it actually needed to be rebuilt, and he'd warranty the work. In the end, he accessed the problems and determined we did not need a new transmission. He made repairs and had the car running great again for $450! Jake and the entire Jim & Sons company were honest and a pleasure to work with. The absolute best!

I was on a trip today from Belmont County to canton. My truck which has never given me a lick of trouble until today... the intercooler hose blew off three. Once at stone creek, once at Navarre, and once at canton. I was on work travel so I had no tools on me. I stopped at Jim and sons transmission service bc it was the closest shop to me on 77. The office staff was very nice and the owner came out on a 28 degree day and reinstalled the intercooler hose for me. He then would not accept payment for his help. Such a stand up shop. I appreciate you guys more than you know. Thanks Jim & Sons Transmission for helping me put in a pinch! Would highly recommend them for vehicle work. They saw me desperate and didn't take advantage of the situation. From one business owner to another Thank you Jim & Sons

These guys are great and honest people to work with. I took my 2020 Chevy Colorado in for a transmission shudder after a couple failed trips to the dealership. They were able to get it diagnosed and fixed in just a couple days with no appointment. My truck hasn’t driven this smooth in a long time. They kept me in the loop the whole time and the pricing was very fair. Definitely recommend them it was a great experience.
